Inspiration

"Loop Loop L∞p, it's like a robot program stuck in an infinite loop," this is a demonstration from an ADHD patient about their daily life, which deeply resonated with me. After investigating the life experiences of more patients, I learned that many of them were not understood by friends or even family when diagnosed in their early years. This is because their condition is often perceived by others as a kind of "laziness." For instance, ADHD patients struggle to focus on one thing, and even simple tasks can be challenging for them, exhibiting symptoms similar to procrastination.

Therefore, I hope to create a game that allows everyone to have a more intuitive understanding of the daily life and mental journey of ADHD patients. By doing so, we can comprehend their struggles, and provide more care and support to those around us who are dealing with ADHD.

Main Storyline:

Content of the Diary (First-person Perspective):

  1. The cute little cat on the roadside, I wonder what it's thinking? Does it prefer fresh fish or fried fish fillet? Mom made such delicious fish fillets yesterday! If only I could have them every day! Kitty, what do you think? Do you like math class? I think you must be a foreign breed of cat, and you probably enjoy English class! Have you been to junior high? Today is my first day in middle school, I'm not an elementary school student anymore! Oh no, am I almost late? (Location: Front door handle)

  2. Huh? The teacher just asked me to write my name, that's great, I thought I'd get scolded for being late. The first day of school is good; not many classes, and the self-introduction took up so much time. Hope the teacher doesn't give homework on the first day. (Location: Blackboard)

  3. I did grow taller over the summer vacation, hehe. In elementary school, I was always the shortest. Back then, I used to play catch with my desk mate on the playground after class; it was so much fun. (Location: Protagonist's desk)

  4. I don't like Chinese class, why are there so many characters in Chinese? They all look the same, and they're printed in rows. Wouldn't it be better if we communicated through drawings? Wait, how would you read drawings? It can't be turned into pinyin. Turning the morning's little cat into a bookmark might be a good idea. (Location: Chinese textbook on the podium)

  5. Are there no numbers on school clocks anymore? Feels like decoding. Although it's a bit difficult, I still like it because circles are my favorite shape. (Location: Clock on the wall)

  6. Didn't finish lunch again, ε=(´οï½€*))) Sigh, another meat dragon would be perfect. English class seems interesting; the little cat would probably like it too. I'm sure I'll meet him again during school! I need to give him a name, Mimi? Too ordinary. Dot? That's what my sister's dog is called. Xiaozhang? Haha! Xiaozhang would definitely be angry if he knew. (Location: English hand-copied report on the wall)

  7. Thankfully, Xiaozhang is not in the same middle school as me. He always does better in exams, and he keeps teasing me. His mom doesn't like me either. Hmph, I don't like them either. (Location: Fallen elementary school class photo on the ground)

  8. Mom has been saying I'm different from other classmates since second grade. When will I be like them? Attached: Medical Record (Location: Medicine bottle in the backpack)

  9. Teacher threw a chalk at me again; teachers are scary. Middle school teachers are just as scary as the previous ones, always scolding me. I dislike teachers and classmates, I really want to go home. (Location: Chalk piece on the ground)

  10. Just finished taking medicine, and the bell for class rings again. Why another class? It's something I don't understand again. (Location: Stack of exam papers on the windowsill)

  11. Finally done writing; it would be great if we could draw during exams. I like drawing. But nobody wants to see what I draw; they don't talk to me. (Location: Doodles on the desk)

  12. Too tired; why isn't it time to go home yet? New classmates are no different; they don't want to talk to me either. (Location: Another desk with a book with a name written on it)

  13. If only I didn't have to go to school, everything is too difficult. (Location: Class slogan on the blackboard)

  14. The new deskmate talked to me; does she also dislike me? (Location: Seating chart on the teacher's desk)

  15. Her name is xx (username), and the candy she gave me is my favorite. The last time I ate it was during the New Year at my hometown with relatives. (Location: Candy on the desk chair)

  16. xx studies diligently; she even agreed to lend me her class notes! Her notes are so neat; I also want to keep such comprehensive notes! I'll use the new pen; the cap is so fun to twist. (Location: Notebook on the desk with a pen)

  17. Thankfully, xx explained this problem to me several times; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to do my homework, haha. Learning is interesting. (Location: Homework on the first row desk)

  18. Everyone agreed to play together on the weekend, so excited! What should I wear? The first time being invited to hang out with everyone. (Location: Jacket hanging on a chair)

  19. Before school ended, the teacher asked me if there was anything I didn't understand in class, and said she understood my situation. She will remind me all the time, hoping I can work hard together. Turns out, teachers aren't that scary. The teacher's textbook is covered with sticky notes; it seems we have to learn a lot of knowledge. I need to work hard!! (Location: Textbook in the teacher's bag)
